But cars which have unexpected electrical faults and headlights which have access hidden for 'safety' reasons isn't really provable as funny business is it! Convenient maybe for Renault though.

Yes precisely... IN POLITICS. Not in the company. Any minister responsible for decisions or influences isn't going to make it a government policy I where it would be minuted are they? More likely to deal with it inside the company where they won't be minuted all the time. Thats the way I'd work it anyway.

Besides even recently our own government was exposed for having shredded ministers expenses which was supposed to be kept for 6 years. Whats to stop other governments doing the same?

Try telling Porsche that. The 911 (996) engine had been around for 8 years and a small number were still failing when the model was replaced by the 997 because of a design problem with them. Manufacturing costs and the fact that it is cheaper to replace a few under warranty than fix the problem at the design/manufacturer stage.

Not so with the new headlights requiring wheels to come off to change a headlight bulb. You seriously think that was an accident Lag?
I'd blame NCAP, aesthetics and manufacturing costs before a manufacturers desire to screw a punter for a few quid for changing a bulb. After all most people would go to an indy if they couldn't do it themselves, not a main dealer.

True I don't get out much these days due to arthritis but I wouldn't go around trying to embarass or humiliate people for it. I guess the same can't be said about you. Once I thought you were a decent bloke too.
Maybe not everybody is privy to your personal circumstances? If you post drivel, you'll need a thicker skin I'm afraid

Cheap shot considering that Lag comes on to a independent forum to advice DIYers on how to fix their cars
