Angry Renault Laguna - Reversing lights not staying on!

I have a 5spd box and my reversing lights do no stay on
unless I hold the stick back.
Question is, is the switch adjustable or does it mean that
like the rest of these cheap micro switches is that it is no
longer any good and needs replacing?

The reversing light switch is a plunger type and is on the left side of the gearbox, there is no adjustment, just check if it is not coming loose but probably needs a new one.

A problem well stated is a problem half solved !

Unfortunately it sounds like the reverse light switch is fubar'd.

I'm not 100% sure on where the switch is on the newer 5 speed boxes, but on the older ones it's next to where the nearside driveshaft enters the gearbox. On the 6 speed 'boxes it's on the top of the gearbox casing.
