It could be something as simple as a dirty or duff connection so I suggest you start by checking all the under bonnet levels and check to see if all connections on the battery are clean and sound. Check the simple stuff first.
never really had a problem with the car. but i will get my friend to check it over tomorrow while I'm at his house. thanks for the help though .
