Have you got the keys to remove the radio? Sometimes standard radios have it written on the housing when you pull it out, mine is.

To enter it I think you use the remote to the right of the steering wheel. IIRC you roll the wheel on it to select the number then press the button to move accross, something like that. When you have entered it I think you hold the button in for a few seconds and it will accept it.

The above may not be exact but I am sure it is something like that.

Code for free

Having recently purchased a Grand Scenic 2.0 auto, came with out radio code, contacted Renault (local) dealer who said that they could provide the code at a cost of 25 (after they contact Renault main), but they suggested that I contact the original supplying dealer for the code, they said that they would have the code on a local database!

The car has a sticker in the rear window and number plate of a Renault dealer (30 miles away) so I took a chance and phoned them, explained that I just bought the car and had no code, they supplied the code then and there over the phone!!

So for those that need a code worth trying before shelling out, took me a minute or two to understand that the wheel for entering the code is also a button!! only the wheel is needed, rotating and pull forward!
