clio 2002 1.2 basic model .drivers window not working seems dead. took door panel off checked connections, fuses, multi plug on door jam checked for broken wire multi plug to door . The window motor has just two cables going to it. Anything else i can check.?
thank you for replying . pulled plug off motor ignition on have 12v on purple wire when i operate switch to down power disappears can't get any reading on the other wire which either white yellow or cream.
Power supply is ok , can you switch your meter to ohms, pull plug off your motor, and put the two probes inside the connection on your motor, if no reading, then motor is fubar, if a reading, then motor could be jammed.. or seized..
I get a reading from my meter off the motor pins, but what I can't understand is when I connect a bulb to the motor plug it will not stay on in any combination when the window switch is pressed down to open. sorry to be such a pain
vin letters VFICBOFCF thanks again . I used to work in a commercial garage 35 years ago trucks and vans were fairly simple technology then, just to many wires now.
