Renault Scenic - Window motor repair

is it poss to repair just the motor on a rear window regulator on a o4 scenic or do i have to replace the wholr thing thanks

Hello, what is the actual problem ? Ony my 2004 Scenic the glass dropped into the door, it turned out to be a plastic clip that had broken, easy fix. But i believe that the motors pack up and also the wires break as well, regards Damian.

no its not either no power i swopped switches and its not that so must be a motor renualt want 180 ebay 110 just wandered if there was a cheaper way

Hello, have you tried supplying the motor with a different 12v source ? Regards Damian.

Have you checked power is getting to the motor before trailing the old unit out. Does the car have a child-proof locking switch on the drivers door - some of the Scenics have have problems in that area.
