tyre pressure sensor system

is it possible to turn this off or rather the light and the black dash on the display by the radio?

im quite capable of knowing when i have a flat tyre and dont need this junk system that doesnt work.

fed up of the car thinking it has a flat tyre and want rid of the warning light if possible.

Some insurance companies do not like it turned off, they see it a safety feature.
