Hi Can anyone help here

My Renault scenic grand 2004 plate has had a problem for a few months now.
I can start the car drive to a location , turn off the engine for just a couple of minutes , then try to restart and have nothing.
No lights on the dash , no tickover nothing?
I have bump started it after this happening and then the car has stopped and started ok for days / weeks after then suddenly it will happen again.
To go with this its not holding the clock or radio code.
I have replaced the battery twice in the last 18 months , so its not that.

If anyone can advise the likely problem that would be great.
I will be taking it to my local dealer in the near future , but wondered if this may be a simple fix ?

Any help appreciated.,

Obviously a bad connection somewhere.
Check in no particular order.
Both battery terminals for good connection.
Fuses on top of battery.
Earth straps from battery -ve to body & Engine.

Try a jump lead from batt -ve to engine & also to body to prove this.
Then use a mutimeter to find where the +12v disappears
HTH

BTW Welcome.
