Clio III Automatic interior lighting question

Hi all,

I have a 56 plate Clio III Dynamique S and my interior light does not come on when I open either door (3 door Clio) but if I put the interior light on the 'on' position and get out and lock the car, the interior light goes off after say 5 seconds and when I unlock the car and open the door, the light comes on again but wont turn off when I drive off, I have to do it manually.

I'm going to take it back to the dealer probably but I just don't want to get there and have my Q answered easily

Sorry for the stupid Q and thanks for any replies!

I would say you have a Clio III - the light comes on when you open the door. If you switch it on manually then lock the car it automatically switches off to prevent you draining you battery.

As you are going do...take it back to the dealer.

Hope this sheds a bit of light (no pun intended)
