Radio Removal, Laguna

Hi all.

I have Laguna 2.2dci 2003 model. (privalage?)The light on the automatic climate control is on the blink and I would like to remove it to see if there is a loose connection.
Can I remove the radio above it to enable me to get access to the climate control unit. So far I can only remove the ashtry underneath and this does let me get to anything at all.

Any ideas. I really dont want to go to a garage or main dealer just yet for what could just be a loose connection.
Cheers guys. Nay help will be appreciated.

I think you remove the ashtray, then the card reader. This will give you access to the ccu!
