Traffic 2006

While changing the alternator on the van I went to disconnect the power and omitted to disconnect the battery lead first . The wrench touched to earth and now having completed fitting the new one ,I have no ignition lights or power . All the fuses are testing out ok and the battery is charged, is there a cutoff somewhere that I'm missing .

Have you checked the lumpy things on top of the battery +Ve terminal, which are indeed (very Expensive) Fuses?

And look perfectly good even when FUBAR.
Check power both sides.

My book says two FAT fuses, one covers ign key via another 60A under bonnet.
2nd covers Alternator & Starter 180 Amp.
