External Temperature Gauge

Hellooo all!

As you can see this page:

Says my car has an external temperature gauge as standard.

However I cannot find the sensor in either of the wing mirrors; where it is supposedly. So I was wondering would it be hard to fit this external temperature sensor to the car? If i bought a used one of a used clio. The display in my car has the lcd part for the sensor so I want to know if i could fit it myself before buying one.

I think it may be possible but you'll need to check if the appropriate wiring harness and connections are present. Never having done such a mod I haven't a clue what to look for

the sensor is usually found under the passenger wing mirror

I would have thought that if the sensor wasn't there, then the functionality wouldn't be in the cars systems to use it.

As Deano says, if you have one, it'll be under the nearside mirror. It looks like a small plastic button.
