Finally got round to doing it. Not to hard actually once i got the battery out of the way. Still a bit scary touching anything in there though. Evertime i touched something, all i could think about was 20000 volts!! Its a joke that renault want to take the bumper off. It was no harder than replacing the bulb on my old brava. I got back in the car, feeling pretty chuffed with myself. I entered the radio code and reset the windows. I then put the drivers window down, bang!! I stopped the window and then tryed to put it up. It struggled but i got it up. I could feel the window move about so i guess it may have came off the runners. OH JOY!!!!
Looks like the money i just saved myself with the bulb, will now be going towards the window!!

Anyhoo, thanks again for the advice guy's.

Glad to hear you got it sorted and it was only a bulb that needed replaced - thanks for the feedback.

Good luck with the window

I agree. One of my bulbs went pink last year, replaced the bulb and it was fine afterwards. Swap the bulbs first (it can be done without removing the bumper), they are much cheaper than ballasts !

EDIT just read the last post from you.... LOL.

Told ya...
