Question Adding fog lights

Hi,

So my 51 Reg Clio 2, Ph 2 has never had fog lights.

A good friend of mine who's a mechican has offered to put some fogs in that look as if it's been done at the factory by default.

We've purchased a new steering stalk and some fog outs out of the same model Clio.

We've connected the loom cable up and gone to install the fogs but can't work out how they hook up to the bumper.

Guessing there is some kind of bracket or something we are missing?

Anyone any use exactly what else is needed? Once done and connected I guess it will need to be fused?

Also does anything else need doing to ensure they work with the car?

Cheers

Re: Adding fog lights

Depends what lamps you've got.
AFAIK, they should have a mounting holder and screw positions in bumper to suit...like these for the brackets.

That's the fogs we have but there is nothing on the bumper to screw into

Re: Adding fog lights

Hi

If your car didn't have the original factory fogs & it only had blanking covers on the holes you will be missing the mounting brackets, check out ebay but you might find it cheaper / easier to replace the bumper for one the same color with fogs already fitted and return the items you have already purchased.
