Clio Elect Connector Burst - Help

Hi
Any help appreciated, I have an electrical connector which the wires have come out instead of the connector coming out. Its the left hand brown connector in the under bonnet fuse box on a 1.2 16v 59 Clio. It appears that the connector block is for the lights.

There are 8 wires, any help it showing which goes where would be appreciated. Photo attached

Thanks in advance

Thanks, can't see all of them but should help. On my previous thread which you helped on where the car wouldn't start. It ended up being the large positive battery connector, one of the cables out was breaking down!

Re: Clio Elect Connector Burst - Help

Got a plug here from a Mk3 of undeterminate year with the following-

Left hand column
Top left = Thin blue
Next down = Brown
Bottom = Orange

Right hand column
Top right = Thin white
Next down = Thin Blue
Next down = Thin white
Next down = Thick white
Bottom = Thick white

There seems to be a lack of obvious markings to determine which of the matching wires is which.
Got the 2 thick white and both have tthe same three marking dots on the wire.

Would imagine it only matters when it comes to finding the right fuse later

For example, your left hand sidelight fuse now powers your right hand side sidelights because the two blue wires need to be swapped in the plug.

If you can find the correct fuse positions, you could pull out one of them to make sure the correct light goes out.
