Both Headlamps Gone Out
Pretty strange one this. Both the headlamps have gone out simultaneously on our Espace - not good as we're trying to sell it!
I've checked both bulbs and they seem ok. I didn't think it would be the bulbs as I only replaced these a couple of months ago. I don't think it will be the fuse either as I believe each side has it's own fuse and therefore it is unlikely that both would blow at the same time.
Anyhow, the problem is that there is no power getting to the wiring. There's no fuses to check under the passenger side footwell. There should, however, be fuses in the engine compartment for the headlamps according to the owners manual, but all I've managed to find are those big fuses and they are all ok (a bit corroded perhaps, but still functional).
Has anyone else had a problem like this? What is it likely to be? Must be something common to both sides. Switch perhaps? Anyway to check this without buying one first? Will there be a relay for the headlamps? Where would this be located?
As always, any help appreciated.
