Scenic 2 window motor fits Megane 2.

Just an FYI really. In the process of repairing the front driver's electric window mechanism on a 5 dr 2004 Megane I mistakenly bought a mechanism from a 2003 (53) Scenic.

Anyhow, upon dismantling, it turns out that the actual motors are exactly the same. The sliders and cables are completely different of course but they fit into the same type of cartridge which then slots into the motor. Quite handy as you don;t have to remove any of the actual window/cable/slider mechanism

I'd been looking for the past two months on ebay for a used Megane II mechanism but only two had appeared - whereas there have been about 20 for mk2 Scenics (much cheaper too).
