Morning Guy's & Girls

Last night while driving home my dashboard display on my MKII Scenic 1.9 dci started to flash erratically and then go off and back on again with all numbers reset, I have herd there is a common fault on the Scenic's . My question is does anyone know if there are any repair places near to Manchester, I know there are places on the internet that it can be sent off to but wondered if there was anywhere nearer for a quicker repair.

Thanks in advance

Done a google search and for the life of me I can't find anywhere in Ashton, I have it booked in at revtronic in Bradford this Tuesday, it's about 40 miles away from me but just wish there was somewhere more local. I can get the dash back on with a good bang but I will be having my satnav on so it will show the speed as well

Interesting, I once went to buy one with No Display, been driving it for months, as they were too poor to replace it. Thought they had to pay dealer prices. :frown2:

I'm not making an issue of this but just clarify the matter I found this on Google

Q601: Is it illegal to drive a car with a broken speedometer?

A vehicle's speedometer shall at all times it is used on a road be maintained in good working order. The only exceptions to this are when:
the speedometer became defective during the journey being undertaken, or
steps have been taken to have the defect remedied by replacement or repair as soon as possible

:wink2:
