Impossible DIY job? Removing heater fan housing

After posting on here regarding the above, i had a go at removing the motor. Trying to test it to see if it is this or the switch that is at fault. Has anyone removed this housing? Is it the small bottom part or the whole fan housing itself? I got all 4 clips off the small bit and couldnt remove it, so i removed all but 1 of the brass bolts and obviously couldnt remove this 1 due to its location. The housing obviously would not come off with 1 left. Any ideas would be great.
Thank you.

Its not the motor whats faulty, its more likely the resistor,

You think getting the motor out is a hrad job, getting to the resistor is 3 times as hard.

Renault recomend taking the doors off ??
