Iv'e carried out the test but at a sensible speed in a quiet road and it will not cut the engine whilst the car is moving and the drive is engaged.

Also the electronic handbrake is Idiot proof" as well. It will not work whilst my Laguna II is moving more than a few miles /hour and then you have to have your foot lightly on the foot brake. Can you imagine doing an electronic hand brake spin on a motoway at 70mph?
