To be fair, it's not all that much to go through and it may solve your problem. Worth a punt, I would say.

the connectors under the seats are a problems on most renault models. soldering them or even crimping them would be a permanent fix. I would be doing both of the connectors as it might save hassle in the future and could also be a potential to save your life should you ever be inovolved in an accident. just remember before you go touching the connectors, disconnect the car battery! this is to prevent the air bags deploying while you are working near them

I had an air bag light on my Lag once. After the garage soldered both underseat pre-tensioner connectors together problem not solved - Someone had done this before on my car so they tell me. So they did both the underseat multi connectors (looks alot bigger and has alot of wires going through it) and this still didnt solve the problem either.

Turned out to a steering wheel coupler on the steering column that the airbag wires pass through.

But this was an expeceptional case so they told me !
