Heated rear windscreen - not working!

Hi there everyone,
hope you all had a good christmas and new year!

I have a small problem with my laguna at the moment, and its only started happening since it was standing for about a month whilst having a Gbox fitted.
Basically, the heated rear screen has decidede to stop working, I have chekced the fuses and the connections to the screen. There is about 14v or so at the '+ive' and the earth cable is securely tightened to the bodywork. I have checked the fuse, fuse was ok. I even connected the screen '-ive' to the negative terminal, and still no joy, could the heating elements have burned out?
Having said that, they all seem in tact! Thanks for any input!

If you have a multi-meter check if current is actually getting through the screen heater. Take a resistance reading across both terminals of the heater or place a test lamp between the terminals of the screen and each connector.
In the past I have seen slight corrosion on the terminals cause such problems
