1996 Megane 1.6 Coupe Electronic fault

Hi guys,

I have a friend who's got a 1996 megane coupe 1.6. When idling, the electronic light flashes rapidly. The box with the squiggly line through it. However, it goes out when the engine is revved above 2,500rpm. The engine management is NOT on, i'm guessing its lambda related?
Anyone shed any ideas on the problem?

Your right - prolly lamba sensor. is the engine erratic or run smooth?

If its smooth its prolly the lamba sensor, if it is erratic then one or more of the coils may be gone.

Mine had the same problem. Prolly best getting comp test to clarify
