You will need to remove the connection. Its best to remove the rear cluster as a unit for a close examination

Have you tried disconnecting the wiring plug or giving it a jiggle, etc

When you say you have checked the bulb, how did you do this, was it by replacement. Its not always visibly obvious that a bulb has gone..

I the stop light seperate or is it a combined stop tail bulb? 21/5 watt
Currently in planmeca's garage:
Renault Laguna 1.8 16v x 2 and a lot of other things. could really do with a tidy up to be honest I'll do it tomorrow

I have unplugged the connector which has 5 wires, and cleaned all the terminals with alcohol, on both the plug and socket.

Ive also given it a little jiggle while the brake was being pressed, but it dodnt flicker.
