1996 Laguna Boot Lock

Hi, I have a 1996 Laguna RN and the boot does not lock with the central locking. I have searched through the posts on this forum and also tried to find the specs for this model, but I not actually sure if the boot is meant to unlock with the doors or if I have to unlock it manually. Does anyone know if this is a standard feature on this model as the boot seems to be getting harder to lock with the key (keeps spinning round and round)

Thanks in advance for your time.

from the sound of it your solenoid has blown. the central locking should lock all doors including the boot hatch. the solenoid is located on the boot lock its self access-able if you remove the interior plastic on your tailgate. I have recently seen one on ebay . http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BOOT-LOCKING-S...1%7C240%3A1318

any questions on how to replace just ask I'll try my best to help.
