Not very cool about ICE

Hi - I recently bought a pioneer cd/radio (DEH-2000) for what I thought was a bargain price (Halfords online), as my factory one died (2003 Clio Extreme).

Have fitted pioneer but going crazy as FM reception fades, MW non-existant (No Five Live Sports Report grrr!!!)

After some interwebbing, I discovered the PC5-52 booster which was recommended to do the trick (although I've only seen reference to VW's, Audi's).

Duly tried to fit PC5-52 - connecting solid blue wire on it to blue/white wire from car loom. Result - zilch difference.

Where do I go form here??????

My first thoughts are that you have an aerial problem which the pc-52 wouldn't cure anyway.

To prove this can you try your Pioneer in another vehicle?
