Go down to the garage tomorrow, chuck cards on table !!!! and ask them for your money back and QUOTE this
' This vehicle is not fit for purpose and as per my statutory rights I demand you refund my money now'
As said before, when they refuse and bluster, offer them seven days to fix the problem, ask for a courtesy vehicle and DO NOT drive out of the garage with your vehicle regardless of the solution they propose.
If they really start to give you grief, make sure you have your local Trading Standards number with you, the reciept for the car and phone them whilst you are onsite for advice.
Bottom line, you have a legal entitlement to your money back !
