*Regulator Repair*

A couple of weeks ago I found that my o/s regulator cable had snapped which obviously resulted in a window that didnt work, luckily after hours of trawling through old posts a memeber on here CHARLIESDAD helped me by sending me the details of a great guy who can re cable the regulator at a fraction of the cost of a new regulator. He is also able to re groove the spool which the cable goes onto. It has only been a 9 day turn-around, and the job this guy has done is fantastic. The communication between him was also second to none.
If anyone needs their regulator re cabled then i have no complaints in recommending this guy, his details are as follows :
Neil Danner, his email is , he charges 30 for the service and approx 9 to send it back on a courier. Obviously you also need to send it to him which cost me approx 11 on a 48hr courier, so all in is 50.
Its also best to send him some pics of the damage, of the spool etc so it gives him an idea whether he can fix it or not, mine was pretty bad but it looks aa good as new.

Hope this helps anyone that was in the same predicament that I was in.

A local supplier to me can supply a new after-market complete regulator for around 60. So for the extra tenner I think it s well worth the extra - plus there is no waiting time
