Interesting - I checked my switch was actually switching correctly +/-12V with a meter and all looked OK. In the end I rewired the switch so that the window only goes up and not down (swapping the supply pins around).

This proved the motor was OK at least.

I can live with it - the drivers side is OK. I'll have a look for a cheap passenger switch.

If anyone here needs a passenger motor for an 01 Clio you can have one off me for 20...

Hi I'm having a similar problem where my passenger side window will not go up or down from the passenger side or the drivers side. I looked at the fuses and swapped them over to see if it was a fuse problem but the drivers window continued to work with no change on the passenger side.

How did you fix the switch problem? I'm not very good with cars but would like to try and fix this myself if I can. Am I able to test it with the drivers side window switch? How do I remove the switch?

So I hope this may be of use to someone,

The problem was the passenger Window was stuck up. When pressing the PASSENGER WINDOW button from the DRIVERS door either up or down, there was nothing, no noise at all....

When pressing the PASSENGER WINDOW button from the PASSENGER Door, there was no movement or noise going Down but if you tried to do the window up you could hear the motor(it wasnt going up because it was already in the fully up position)

Replacement of switch solved problem, they are 37!! at renualt, however i picked one up on ebay for 12.
