radio/cd model number

Lost my radio/cd player code so I need to know the model number to get code for it. Can anyone tell me how to remove the radio and suggest a good internet site to download a code from.
Thanks in advance.

To remove the radio you will need a small tool which goes into the holes on either side to relase the retaining clips.

NOTE!! If you read the rules of the forum it is not allowed to publish or gives links to any radio de-coding sites. I suggest you check with your local dealer.

Have a look through the link below for guidance on removing and fitting

Hi peterpan you havnt got your model of car in your thread box what car have you got???to remove the radio you will need two extraction wires avaliable from Halfords /or car parts shop. put the wires in the two holes that are on either side of radio press slighly outwards while gently pulling radio forward. have you got the cars service book??if you have then the radio code is usually stamped on first page...
