Replacement bulbs for Modus

Hi there,

The headlight bulb has gone on one side of our Modus (not full beam - just the dipped beam) and I'm looking to replace them with something a little bit more powerful. These are advertised on eBay - and they give that blue tint which looks better than the yellow-ey colour of the current bulbs.

Does anybody have any experience of these - are they any good?

Also, I believe there is a difficult process involved in changing the bulbs on the Modus? The local kwif-kit had a go and came back to me after 15 minutes saying I'd need to take it to Renault for a bulb change. Renault say it will cost over 100. I'd love to do it myself but don't have the tools or mechanical knowledge.

Currently in Modus-91's garage:

I bought some of these bulbs probably from the same seller and yes they are quite a lot brighter.

The only down side is the light doesn't seem as good when shining on a wet road. In the dry they are much better than the stock bulbs. Go for it
