I had a problem with my driverside window recently it stopped working , luckly the regulator etc was replaced under warrenty, after talking to the machanic at renault the damage is caused by water , sometimes they can dry all the conections out and re seal them and away you go.

If i was you i would see if i could pick a secondhand or cheaper replacement unit then cover it in grease etc, to make sure water stays out.( another stupid design fault thats never been rectifyed)

Renault window regulators are under warranty for 4 years or 50,000 miles

I don't know if you mean the relay switch. I have the same problem and have ordered the part from my local Renault dealer for 22.14. They insisted it was the motor and wanted the replace the whole lot. 216 alone for part. Good luck!

Angry Don't pay for window problems!!

The driver door window on my 05 Megane starting falling. I tried the temp fix of fuse in and out an locking, which does work. Took it to Renault Cardiff and explained that I knew it was common. They have fixed it at no charge. They say they changed the regulator and motor. They did say that the warranty for this problem is one year after the normal, so 05's will end in June 09. They will not give additional warrany even on the new parts(if they have been fitted)

Also have problem with key card not starting car and that cost me 180 for work to oxygen system on exhaust??

Never buy Renault again. Don't even start me on ignition coils .
