Question Laguna II - sat nav in standby mode?

Hi folks -

Just wondered if there's a way of having the satnav start up in standby mode when you start a Laguna? Mine appears with the Highway Code warning and you have to hit the jog dial a number of times to get away from it and into either standby or map mode.

I appreciate that it may be illegal for the map view to be default, but can standby be the default mode? Reason I ask is that at night the Highway Code warning is on a bright blue screen and really distracting.
