windcreen wiper problems

Anyone with a Megane that has Wiper blade problems please read on. The issues I have recently had have been rectified thanks to this web-site and a help from me good old bro.

The problem was that the Wipers would not work when switching on the traditional way. Instead I had an earth some where which meant the wipers would only switch on by turning the heater on. This worked, however the heater would then stop.

Problem rectified by the knowledge and support of others. Partial corrosion of the Pins in the block connector hidden behind the drivers side kick plate (plastic trim), was found. Simply using a very light sand paper clean the pins and have a good spray of WD40 inside the block cures all known gremlins.

Thanks again everyone.
