could be lots of things, from brake pedal switch adjustment to new hydraulic block, a fault present in the injection computer will switch off esp, low battery power could cause the abs computer to loose the steering angle position, best to have it plugged in first

Not on an Espace but just had the same on my 06 2ltr dci Laguna (check ESP). Rang 4 dealers to try and sort it quick as it happened 3 days before a holiday, when the last mentioned it was a recall item...........code yellow, free replacement when the fault arises as oppose to code red, immediate recall. Why the others didn't pick this up beats me? Tones of Hartlepool was the top dealer sorted in 24hrs, no fuss.

As I said fixed FOC with a courtesy car, they replaced the ABS pump on mine. The car was out of warrenty and had covered 115,000 but it was still you can tell I am pleased about this.
