Hello Folks
I had the same problem with my new Lag Coupe. Determining how to interpret the instructions was a nightmare and 3 trips to the dealer didn't solve it. The problem was that de-activation of the volumetrics sensor was intermittent. It made me look a right fool if it didn't set the first time, which was more often than not!

In the end, a couple of connections were changed in the box beside the door pillar and that part of the Alarm was disengaged. Less than a 2 minute job.

As for the blu-tack, that's not going to look good, and someone is bound to think that it shouldn't be there and peel it off, possibly without your knowledge. You can get some nicer black sticky velcro buttons, so I'd use a couple of the "fluffy" sided ones instead. They won't stand out so much.

You can then lock the car with out the ultra sonics tripping the alarm.

@ Getafix! good solution! & Scatz! I thought that too!
Mikey is right, this is the correct procedure (the card not the blutak!) I do accept that it isn't the most straight forward process. I'll mention this to our alarms man to bear in mind when sourcing future products.
