So what was broken, on the regulator was not the clip that held the window up at all. It was, the circular, plastic clip at top of the metal pole in the regulator that allows the tension wire to well, turn.
So, I made my own little make-up and put it at the top, and it worked! However, before, I noticed the metal cord looked a little twisted. After about 5 minutes, it stopped working, and I noticed that the metal cord was now totally twisted, and bent. It had wrapped around part of the
beside the motor, and bent!
Any ideas if I can either simply buy another one of these plastic bits, or another piece of cord and put it in handy enough?
Thanks! I'm trying to save the expense of a whole new regulator!
