Will This CD Changer work in my Laguna?

Hi I am new to this forum. I have a Renault Laguna II 1.6 2001 which has the standard Tunerlist CD headunit.

I have been given from my father in law a CD changer from his volvo which has a DIN Connection.

I have found an adapter/cable on ebay which will allow you to connect from DIN to Mini ISO in the back of the Head unit.

SO i was wondering if this CD changer would be compatible in my car?

Any Help Would be greatly appreciated

Hi - the simple answer is no - the Volvo changer will not be compatible with your Renault system, whatever wiring adapters you have.
The only CD changers you could use would be certain Renault (Alpine) models, and certain VDO models.

sweet, i got one spare, PM me if interested.
linky to other thread where i put up the pics of the alpine unit.

i dont have the cable though as its still embedded in the laggy2 atm and im not too keen on messing up the interior to rip it out.
probably better if you rip the cable out of a scrapper if you havnt already got one fitted.
there is a differnt version of interior side panel that encloses the rear mount cd player as well.

do you have the frame it sits in ??? i could probably rip that out of the back. and let you have that aswell.
