2000 clio

hi i have a 00 clio.
i have a problem with the window washers front and rear. the water doesnt come out when i pull the stalk forward!!! there is the usual noise and the window whipers work fine.
ive noticed water dripping out (very little) by the wheel when i do this.
my mechanic said the pipes are prob not connected or blocked and should only be a small job.
anyone have a simular problem. thanks

I'd be inclined to agree with your mechanic! If you're getting the whirring noise then at least your pump won't be knackered. The fact that both front and back are not working would suggest the problem lies towards the bottle end

Have you tried sticking a pin in the washer jets just incase they are full of crud
