window jam on Laguna I

Hi All
as usual experiencing problems with my drivers window. the motor drops the window no problem but when closing it it always jams halfway and needs pushed back to continue. i've found that if i put grease like veseline on the front track it works fine and have checked the tracks and they are fine. don't want to keep having to grease it any one got ideas on how to fix this? it's almost as if the part at the front is too tight since greasing it helps

It could be the window regulator is furbarred. It would be wise to remove the door liner for a looksee.

As far as I know Laguna 1's dont have the window regulator problems that plagues the Laguna II's etc. I thought they had the old style metal scissor type regulator.

But like Noel said, you will have to take the door card off to see what's going on.
