Scenic radio / cd question

I have a 2002 Scenic with bog standard radio / cd stack.

My question is this;
When you turn off the engine (back one setting with the key (ie, not fully removing the key from the ignition)), sometimes the radio or CD player will cut out and then 'cut' back in again about 3-4 seconds later. Other times the unit will continue uninterupted. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason why though?

What do other peoples units do?

In my old Scenic, it would always continue until I fully turned the key back to 'O'ff and removed the key from the ignition?!

I do not think it is a problem as mine is similar.
It seems to depend on how long you take to switch off

its because the ignition feed to the radio is cut when you go from position 1 to 0.
on quite a lot of cars this happens when you go from 2nd stage to starting the car, this is because of the same thing , it breaks the ignition wire feed to the radio
