Newbie starts with a question.....

I have recently become the proud owner of a 2001 Laguna Sport Tourer Dynamique.
I have a question to start.......
My rear screen heater works fine, but the mirrors do not demist. My first thought was fuse, so have checked the fuse with what looks like a heater mirror symbol.
All appears OK, yet the mirrors don't demist, even when the rear screen heater is on. Any clues???

Hello and welcome Kev

I may be wrong but I think they are presominantly for melting through any frost rather than demisting....I could be wrong but mine don't really have any demisting affect until they have been on for a loooooong time!

im not sure but you have the "Dynamic" (this is french for "the cheapest model of them all")
is suspect the branded "RN" models were getting a bad reputation on previous models

you might not have the mirror glass with embedded heater elements!

probably a good idea to ask a dealership if yours had them as factory fitted, just go in and ask if they could update thier computers records with your details as new owner and any chance of a printout of the factory options it was suplied with as new. (it should be free!) They would have to look it up on the Renault Main dealership database.

i got one for mine and there is one hell of a lot of options on the laggy2.
