Interior light problem

Hi I have Laguna II 2004 1.9 dCi My wife has discovered an intermittent fault when you open the drivers door the interior lights :-feet and roof. Do not come on.Passenger and rear passenger lights all work ok.The micro switch seems to be built into the door locking mechanism.

Yep - the micro-switches at the door locks tend to give trouble. Sometimes a good spray with switch cleaner or the likes of WD40 may assist but you'll need to remove the door liner for access.
