1 big mistake

i have made a very big mistake. my battary went flat on my 2001 megan (dont know why yet) so i tried to jump it, but as it was very dark i got the leads the wrong way round & now most of my electrics have gone dead. is there a main fuse somewhere that i can check, or is it what i suspect a bit more serious.

I would check the fuses in the fuse box first, and replace if blown

If the fuses are ok in the fuse box I wouldint know where to start, I think they might be some relays/large fuses somewhere, but dont quote me on that

if you cant find any, then its probably auto electrician time

Hopefully its just blown fuses in the fusebox

hope this helps

It has probably nuked the battery too.

Check fuses, change battery and keep your fingers crossed.

Your lucky the jump leads did not ignite! That can also happen when the polarity is reversed!
