Drivers door does not unlock

I have some problems with the drivers door lock on my Laguna 2 Tourer.

Although all the other three doors and boot open OK using my card the drivers door stays locked. After having read various posts concerning this problem and some advice given in one of them, I can't remember which one, I greased the catch on the door lock and this worked everything back to normal so I thought but after a couple of days the problem returned.

This time I used a multi purpose grease and again this solved the problem for a short time but the problem came back again this morning.

By pressing the key card several times the lock worked again, however when returning and unlocking the car it did not open.

Any suggestions please.

Hi M8

I have the exact same problem with a lag 11, Mine unlocks if you lean on the drivers door, so it must be wear on the latch assy.
I have tried everything, but still have not solved it, so if there is a cure it would be nice to know.

Could well be a dirty or sticking lock motor solenoid and you'll need to remove the door liner for a closer look.
