Stu: You can only have the monitor disabled using "Clip" (renault Diagnostic computer) at a dealer in afraid..

For what its worth the tyre monitor system is Crap, Unreliable, and expensive to maintain/repair.. ie £30 each for a valve + reprgramming + vat..

My Laguna tyre monitering system has been reliable for nearly 4 yrs.
A tyre fitter broke one valve once, got a replacemen from Ebay for 10 and my local dealer reprogrammed it for free.

Warned me of 2 punctures as well.

When it tries to notify you about a problem, it flashes the wrong tyre on the dash display.

Not the end of the world, IMHO.
