I am assuming you already have an old mapping cd.If it is an "original" it should have some info on the label. You're welcome to try one of my old cd's, what neck of the woods are you? Dave

Sat Nav Update.

Laguna II Sat Nav. I have the original 02 ver, works well and happy other than sometimes sends me through centre of three cities when the motorway would take me straight to destination and system is set for fastest route? TMC has never worked though, red icon? If I get an up to date disc "e-bay" or kind forum user, is there any thing I should know about installing the new software? don't want to stop a system thats currently working.

The map discs are purely map data, they don't update the software at all. If it doesn't like the new disc, just return to using the old one and you'll be right back where you started.

I know you haven't asked for this, but if anyone's thinking of offering you a CD-R copy of their disc, then I'd like to stress that this amounts to copyright theft and not permitted on this site. On the other hand, if someone who has already upgraded is prepared to give/sell you their old genuine disc, then that should be fine.

Failing that, the Laguna FAQ has a link to a reliable source of genuine TMC enabled, up to date discs at much less than the official Renault prices. See my sig below for the link to the FAQ.
