Another easy way - have all doors closed except drivers door, press and hold the lock/unlock doors button (next to the hazards) for a count of 5 you hear a loud clunk and doors lock, jump out, close door and walk away, don't touch the remote - totally bypass the alarm which is actually a retro fit in the UK for insurers (NOT standard).
I use this for the dog. Drove the poor thing NUTS when I first got the car.... used to just double pressing the lock button to deactivate the internal sensors on my last car.
One word of warning tho' --- DONT leave your card key in the car IT CAN GET LOCKED IN!
