Renault Clio immobiliser problem


I started my car fine got out came back started it again and the little led light which i presume is for the immobiliser has stayed on, not flashing but stayed on. my central locking does not work my alarm wont work my indicators wont work my passenger side window will work but my drivers side wont my hazard lights wont work everything else is fine and the car still drives. WHAT THE HELL!!!!! IF ANYONE HAS A CLUE PLEASE HELP I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL COS I DONT FANCY PAYING A COUPLE OF HUNDRED POUNDS OUT TO HAVE IT RECTIFIED........

Hello Glenn,welcome to the forum.

This problem sounds like a bit of a nightmare!

Any other clues?.Have you had any work done on the car recently?.Do you have remote central locking on your car?.

I'd start by checking all of the fuses,and if they are all Ok,then get back to us and we'll have another think.....!

at last

thanks guy i must be really thick i checked my fuses after i found them lol. on usual cars they are under the footwell mine at the side of passenger door panel. it was a fuse that had gone the 5 amp to the heat sensor and also a wire had come loose in the back of the fuse box . when i had these done it was all ok then.
