Hi Daniel,

Unfortunately ours is still broken. And have not bothered to put it back together again as yet. It's going to cost about 70 for the complete mechanism for ours and then a bit of puzzling to put it back in...

I'm not looking forward to it thats for sure.

Cheers... TJ

Scenic 2000 window repair

I had exactly the same problem earlier ths year.

I tried plastic metal etc but it couldn't take the strain.

Where the plastic clip broke there was enough plastic material left on the clip to allow me to drill through it and use a bent piece of aluminium to act as a splint/clamp. Although it was real pain to get the cable back on it's now lasted 6 months without a problem.

Good luck
Currently in scenic2000's garage:

It Works !!!!

I tryed the idea of the aluminum peace but i didn't have much pastic to fix it, so i used a paste that you mix two colus and it feels like gum. Any way it go's rock hard and i made the shape of the broken peace.

Took some time to find a place that sales the corect wire conected it up (quiet hard to fix both on the motor) and amayzing it works.

Total cost 15 pounds and not 200 like the renault dealer wanted for a new one.

Thanks again

Great help
